FAQ's

What is the maximum size the home can be?
Maximum width of home in one piece is 5.0 meters & up to about 15 meters in length.(external dimensions)

Can I have it bigger say 6.0 meters wide and 12 meters long?
Yes you can but it would increase the cost eg. Transport, on site work, additional materials (eg. extra steel work, 2 ridge beams etc)

Can two houses be joined together to make one house?
Yes you can but again it would increase the cost for the same reasons as above.

How long does it take to build?
From the time of order and deposit being paid usually between 6 & 8 weeks.

How much warranty do I get?
There is a 12 month Factory & 36 month structural warranty.

What are the transport costs?
Transport costs vary but a good indication is between $800.00 - $2000.00 (approximately $1000.00 for about 100 kilometers)

Who places the home at the destination and does all the connections?
Usually a plumber and electrician are required, to come in and hook up the services

Are the homes insulated?
Yes we provide a polyester bat for all the external walls & an insulation blanket in the ceiling

Can I customize the internal layout of the home?
Yes you can change anything you like on the home only your imagination & budget are the factors affecting you.

Can I buy a home fully furnished with nothing else to buy?
Yes you can, all you have to do is pick the items you would like and we can take the fuss out of shopping for them and have them all in place within the home on delivery.

Who gets all the permits and other things required from the council?
Getting council permits is your responsibility, but with our vast experience in the construction industry, we will assist you in any way we can to obtain all the necessary permits required.

What are the terms of payment?
A 40% deposit is required at the time of ordering. A progress payment of 40% is due upon completion of the frame and roof, electrical and plumbing rough-in. The final balance of 20% is to be paid at final inspection prior to transport.

Are the homes low maintenance?
Yes all the underside of the home, fretwork, handrails etc are all made of galvanized metals, the exterior cladding is hard wearing non fading vinyl, aluminum windows & roof are colourbond, fascias/handrails are painted treated pine thus making the home as low maintenance as possible.
